Summer Events in Cortez

Whether you are coming to Cortez for a vacation, visiting relatives, or moving here permanently, it's always nice to know what is happening & when. Here is a list of regular events during the summer in Cortez, Colorado.

Native American Dances every night at 7 PM at the Cultural Center until August 24th. (These are awesome and free to the public. They feature local dancers from the Four Corners region and are beautiful & educational for the whole family!)

Trivia @ WildEdge Brewing Collective on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.

Trivia @ Blondies Trophy Room every Monday night at 7 PM.

First Friday Market & Music - on Market Street every 1st Friday every month.

The Cortez Celtic Fair is coming back on June 24th, 2023 for its 6th annual summer! Grab your kilt, bagpipe, and your family, and head to Parque de Vida to join the fun!

The Ute Mountain Birding Festival, which brings birding experts from across the country to Cortez, is scheduling May 17 - 21, 2023. All proceeds go to support the Cortez Culture Center.

Third Thursday party in Montezuma Park every 3rd Thursday, June - September.

The outdoor pool is open daily from 11:45 AM - 5 PM. For those looking to get a workout in the first hour (11:45 - 12:45) is lap swim only. The outdoor pool does have a water slide, so it's fun for kids too!

Cortez Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings from 7:30 - 11:30 AM June - October. The market is in the parking lot of the Montezuma County Courthouse.
